Thunderstorms in Venice can bring very heavy Venice rain but no normally very long lasting in the summer. If it does rain so hard as to drive you indoors there are lots Venice things to do into to escape the rain. Even if you are already thinking about the big Venice museums when you have Venice vacation. In the Summer it's more short sharp showers than prolonged rain. For example you can sit at one of the elegant 18th-century Venice cafe (Florian and Caffe Quadri, with tables spilling out into the sunlight from the shadows of the Renaissance colonnades) and peer at one of Europe’s most unusual churches, the golden Byzantine Basilica di San Marco. The Peggy Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art has a good cafe in the gardens if you do not appreciate the art! Similarly Ca'Rezzonico has a useful cafe in the great entrance hall.. Visit also Venice theater or Venice concerts. That`s why don`t stay in the Venice hotel there are a lots to do!
