Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland.Edinburgh is a great destination for a weekend break. Edinburgh is full of Celtic culture and Scottish tradition. Edinburgh is known for its arts festivals. So I decided to travel to Edinburgh from London. I took the morning train London Edinburgh (it took me 4.5 hours). I tried to buy cheap tickets for trains to Edinburgh from London online. After that I checked in to a Edinburgh hotel and then first of all  I wanted to go and see the legendary Edinburgh Castle. From this place Edinburgh was founded.

Things to see in Edinburgh Scotland UK

Edinburgh has over 20,000 historical and architectural monuments. A short day trip would not be enough to see even one percent of them, but I’d like to advise you to see the major ones. The best place to get a first look at the Edinburgh Sightseeing Bus Tours in a classic double Decker open top bus. On your Edinburgh si ghtseeing bus tour, you can saw landmarks of the Old and New Towns (both listed among UNESCO World Heritage Sites), National Museums Scotland, the Royal Mile, etc.
