How to get from Vienna Airport to the Vienna City Center, Austria

Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and landed at the airport, you'll certainly would like to see the house of Mozart, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the famous Vienna Opera quickly. Well, no problem: Vienna Airport or Wien Flughafen is made in such a way that you can choose one of three modes of public transport and spend a little time for jorney.

Transport number one - the direct train City Airport Train (CAT). He goes to the center just 16 minutes and a ticket costs only 10 euros. In the city center CAT has its own terminal, and you should be aware that on the way back you can check-in on the flight before getting into the train.

Option number two involves the journey to the center of the usual city railway train - S-bahn (personally, I advise you to get to the station Mitte). A ticket will cost 3.60 euros and the journey takes about 25 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on the platform in one of the machines that support English language (the same rule works for trains SAT). Returning to the airport I discovered at the station ticket vending machines at the S-bahn and bought tickets for cash from the conductor the train. If you do not come up to him before he asks you about the tickets, have to pay a large fine.

The last option - to get to downtown by bus (for example, to the station Westend). The bus stop is right from the exit of Terminal 1 and 2 and is equipped with a light board, which indicated departure time of the next flight.
