Futuroscope France, or Parc du Futuroscope is the only theme park of its type in Europe.
A must for kids, Futuroscope will please all ages with its 3D cinemas along with other attractions and shows, some of which are the only examples in the world. Futuristic and virtual attractions will transport you into the Future. A whole day is a good compromise, though you could stay in this region of France for over a week without running out of things to do.

Futuroscope France has its own TGV (super fast train) station.
The two nearest stations are the Futuroscope TGV station (1 km) and Poitiers station (12 km), on the high-speed TGV Atlantic line.
Poitiers-Biard airport is located to the northwest of Poitiers, 10 km from Futuroscope France. There are daily flights from certain towns via Lyon (or via London for international flights). Direct route from London Stansted operated by Ryanair(1h 30), from Lyon and European cities operated by AirFrance and Airlinair. Several airports within easy reach: La Rochelle, Tours, Angers, Limoges-Bellegarde(110 km), Bergerac, Bordeaux and Nantes.
Entrance prices (for 2009) are: adults(17-59 y) 35 euros, seniors (+60y) 32 euros, kids (5-16y)25euros and infants are free.
Pets are not allowed inside Futuroscope
Tickets give you unlimited admission to the attractions inside Futuroscope and to the Evening show. The Evening entry ticket gives admission from 5.00 pm and to the Evening Show. Show begins at 22.45. If you’re a student, disabled person, you may qualify for specialty deals (20% discount on tickets)
Futuroscope France also has a flat 6 euro a day charge for parking. (valid from 8.00 am to 8.00 am the following day), after 5.00 pm, the set fee is 2 € (5.00 pm to 8.00 am the following day) (Buses run from the hotel areas to the theme park.) The best option is to book your tickets online. You will have to pay for the ticket by your credit card Also you can book your tickets by phone (preferably 30 days in advance). You can buy the ticket in the park; all payments are accepted including checks and some Gift Vouchers. Futuroscope and most of the hotels have English-speaking staff, and often there are also speakers of other European languages. The park has eight full-service restaurants and ten restaurations rapides (Illico Resto). Food prices do not exorbitant. Café food includes the great French (and Belgian) favourite: moules et frites! (mussels and chips). There are eight shops with general Futuroscope items, a host of original for gifts, most of which are located at the entrance. There are also regional food products, toys, games, fashion accessories, t-shirts, caps, books. Futuroscope also has young kid’s playground, and other child-size rides.There are 12variously-priced hotels, all less than 10 minutes walk from futuroscope. Some of them offering special deals at times. A bit further away are some camping sites.
